  1. The play ends as the characters dance just before Hero and Claudio's’ wedding. Before they begin dancing, a messenger tells Don Pedro that Don John was captured by armed soldiers. Immediately after the play, it is expected that Hero will marry Claudio and that Beatrice will marry Benedick. Although they seem happy now, I honestly do not believe that either marriage will last. In my opinion, Claudio has some serious trust issues. He didn’t believe his own fiancee when she was accused of not being loyal. As for Beatrice and Benedick, I truly believe that their wits will start to annoy each other. There is also the small detail that they’ve only known each other for a few days, but that’s expected for a Shakespeare play.

    1. I actually think Beatrice and Benedick's relationship will last because although their relationship started out with wit, it evolved into a sort of admiration. They realise they have more in common than they thought. Also, they're relationship has obe thing that Hero and Claudio's does not snd that's honesty. Throughout the play they are always blunt with each other. (Z. Simmons 1st)

  3. The events that ends the play is them finding Don John being found and the dancing beginning between all of the couples. I do not anticipate the wedding between Claudio and hero because he accused her of cheating and he embarrassed her in front of everyone. He did not believe her when she was telling the truth so I do not think that the wedding will be successful. I do however anticipate the wedding for Beatrice and Benedick. I think there wedding will be successful because they both love each other dearly and it is true love unlike Claudio and Hero. (S.Bates7)

    1. I agree with you as far as Claudio and Hero's marriage not lasting because hey keeps accusing her of things that she did not do and he continued to not believe her even when she was telling the truth. I also agree with you about Benedick and Beatrice's marriage. I truly think they will last because they express true love to each other. (A.Davis 1st)

    2. I completely agree! Beatrice and Benedick’s relationship was much more realistic than the one between Hero and Claudio. Claudio and Hero didn't even know each other before they decided to get married. In my opinion, if Claudio actually knew his fiance, then he would have known that she would never cheat on him. The event that ends the play is that Don John has been caught and is on his way back and after they hear the news they do dancing leaving his problems until the next day. I think the marriage between Claudio and Hero will be somewhat successful after being a little rocky. Claudio is easily lead astray so until he works on that, I think there will be a few problems. I think the marriage between Benedick and Beatrice will be very successful since they are a prefect match. They may bicker but it will be playful and they will praise each other instead of bring each other down since now they know they care for one another.

  5. As the play ends everyone is dancing and a messenger informs Don Pedro his brother, Don John has been caught and been brought back to Messina. I predict that the marriage between Claudio and Hero will not be successful because Claudio falsely accused Hero of cheating, he gets easily tricked, leading to complicated situations. He did not believe Hero when she was telling the truth. I anticipate that the marriage between Benedick and Beatrice will be successful because they are alike in many ways that they do not even know. Even though they are not the nicest towards each other, that is what helps them understand each other a little more.

    1. I disagree that Claudio and Hero's marriage will not be a success the second time. I think that their wedding will work out because Claudio went back to Hero after he found out she was falsely accused of having an affair. If their wedding was not going to work, then they would not have been able to forgive each other and move on. Claudio and Hero obviously love each other dearly because they decided to get married after all the disaster that happened. I get that you think Claudio gets easily tricked because of what happened and how he thought Hero could really cheat on him, but if you look in Claudio's perspective all he saw was 2 people in Hero's bedroom in which looks suspicious. Anyone that saw their lover in a dark bedroom, in the middle of the night, with another man would think the worst to. Although Claudio did make a bad decision with calling Hero out in front of everyone, they got through this and no matter what they still love each other and love never fells.

  6. Everyone dancing together ends the play. Shortly after the play it is expected that Hero and Claudio will actually get married and that Benedick and Beatrice will also get married. I do not think the marriage between Claudio and Hero will be successful because Claudio has already accused Hero of lying and he should have known Hero and knew that she would never do anything like that. He also called Hero out in front of everyone at their first attempt at marriage. I do think that Benedick and Beatrice's marriage will be successful because even though they found out they were played by other people, they still are willing to marry each other. 7th- B.Massengale

  7. At the end of the play Claudio is expected to marry Hero and Benedick has just asked Leonato for his blessing to marry his niece, Beatrice. After the play ends, not only will Claudio be marrying Hero, but Benedick will be marrying Beatrice. I think Claudio and Hero's marriage is bound to fail because their relationship was rushed and they barely know one another. They both seem to be in love with the idea of love. Benedick and Beatrice, although they couldn't stand each other, had known each other for a long time. They have history and each has an understanding of the other. The marriage between Beatrice and Benedick is likely to succeed. Z. Simmons 1st

    1. I think that after everything Hero and Claudio have been through a lot at the end of the play. This could cause them to become more in love and i believe that overcoming everything and forgiveness caused them to get married in the end. I agree with what you say about Beatrice and Benedick. They have known each other for a while and from all the wittiness and bickering, it turned out to their marriage in the end because that could have shown that they actualaly liked each other. 8. What ends the play is when Don John is caught and dancing between each person and their mate. I don't think the marriage between Claudio and Hero will last because of the simple reason that Claudio is very gullible and quick to jump to conclusions and accuse those close to him of betrayal. I do believe Beatrice and Benedick's marriage will last a long time because they have a relationship that isn't all seriousness all the time. Since they joke with themselves a lot, their relationship can only grow instead of tear apart.

  9. Claudio and Hero's marriage, as well as Benedick and Beatrice's wedding end the play, and Don Johns punishment is set to happen afterwards.

I believe the marriage between Claudio and Hero will be successful because of the test of faith that occurred after Hero's fake death that Claudio went through, swearing to come to her grave every year and read off a poem, more than proving he cares for her.

I believe Benedick and Beatrice's wedding will also be successful because from what happened in the play already, they were able to put up with each others insults, and aren't seriously damaged by them. They have their own way of expressing their love for each other, and it seems to work.

  10. The end of the play is after Claudio marries hero at like a traditional wedding dance between the two wedded couples. I believe Claudio and Hero might have a good life together, but what happened at the first wedding where Claudio accused Hero of infidelity might still stay for awhile causing emotional tension. The relationship between Benedick and Beatrice might still have some getting use to cause of how they talked about each other, but it will more or likely be successful. N.White 2nd

  11. The play ends with the pitiful marriage of Benedick and Beatrice and the return of the exiled man. Claudio's surprise reveal and marriage happens as well.

I did anticipate the marriage of Claudio and hero to be successful because of the plan that hero's father came up with. The masked entrance, and making him hold her hand and saying i do before she unmasked was quite clever. A perfect revenge plot.

I also did expect Benedick's and Beatrice's marriage to be quite successful Because of the way they both pitied each others love. they were v=bound to end up married.

  12. What ends the play is Claudio marries Hero and then they proceed to dance with the other married couple which is Benedick and Beatrice. Then what happens after is that Don John being sent back to Messina. I do not believe that Claudio and Hero's marriage will last because Claudio has major trust issues, and quite frankly if you can't even trust your wife I don't think you should have married her. However, I think that Benedick and Beatrice's marriage will last because they already are accustomed to their insults. They can insult one another and that's their way of expressing their love for each other so I think it will work out. ( A.Davis 1st )

  13. The play ends with everyone dancing. Shortly after the play, it is expected that Hero and Claudio will get married along with Beatrice and Benedick. I think that the marriage between Hero and Claudio will work this time because their first "marriage" ended horribly in which the test of unfaithfulness has already occurred and they got through it and in the end learned the truth and forgave each other. Also Claudio obviously is madly in love with Hero because he promised he would visit her grave every year when he thought she was dead. This shows that they can get through anything if they just stick together and communicate. I also think that Beatrice and Benedick's marriage will be a success because they knew that people set them up and they still decided to get married. They also put up with each others insults and wittiness throughout the play, so they are used to it. Benedick and Beatrice are alike in many ways; therefore, they know how to handle one another.

  14. S.Laguerre. 2nd period. 1. The event that ends they play is the when Claudio meets with Leonato's niece who happens to be Hero but then see that it is Hero and the event that happens after the play is the double weddings between Benedick and Beatrice once they admit to loving each other and Claudio and Hero after all had been resolved and sorted out and Hero could come out of hiding.
    2. I anticipate that the marriage between Claudio and Hero will be successful because even though the rumour came in the way of them, Claudio and was very much in love and enticed with Hero and vice versa although, the comments Claudio said to Hero about the rumour came of as very rude and may be thought that he could have some trust issues within him.
    3. I anticipate that the relationship between Benedick and Beatrice will last because even though they argue, and have witty comebacks, they understand each other and will work amazing together as a team. Compared to Hero and Claudio, Benedick and Beatrice relationship would last longer and is full of more character. They also really don't care for others opinion of them in general especially when they were picked on for describing the type of character they wanted in a spouse.
